Whatever you call it, wear it with pride

CumbrellaHIV Community Link is launching a new campaign during Calgary Pride Festival to help promote healthy practices and safer sex and encourage participants to feel positive about using a condom — the campaign will act as a symbol, celebrating diversity by promoting a community free of judgement.

The posters for the campaign promote the use of condoms, an effective tool in the STI and HIV prevention toolbox. Also, they encourage everyone to protect their “magic stick” or “fortune cookie” with pride. The posters will have condoms attached to them so anybody can take one for free.

HIV Community Link wants to thank our community partners for promoting the posters in their locations. Also, we want to acknowledge the help and creativity of Teresa Leung (Art Director), Jordan Finlayson (Copywriter), and Wendy Chiu (Project Manager) from the team over at Evans Hunt.

HIV Community Link invites everybody to use #wearitwithpride on social media during Calgary Pride Festival to promote healthy practices. Also, we are inviting everybody to celebrate diversity with us on September 4th, at the “Pride in the Park” event in Shaw Millennium Park. We will be offering free condoms during the event from a special interactive display that’s sponsored by our friends over at Village Brewery.
