NEW: Volunteer at Splash of Red Masquerade

Put on your best red attire and join us to help make the 2018 Splash of Red a success by becoming a volunteer! Our annual fundraising gala, Splash of Red would not be possible without the hard work of a dedicated group of volunteers on event day. We require volunteers for three different shifts on both event day (May 5th) and post-event (May 6th). The shifts are as follows:

  • Saturday, May 5th (Day), 10 am to 3 pm: These volunteers will help set up the Chrystal Ball Room at the Fairmont Palliser for a fun and fabulous evening for our guests. This is a great chance to help out if you already have plans for the evening and can’t make it to the event.
  • Saturday, May 27 (Evening): ~5 pm to ~12:00 am (various shifts) We need a large number of volunteers to assist in processing donations, monitoring the auction, greeting, and ensuring the event runs smoothly! If you’re available, book yourself off now and we will be sure to find a spot for you!
  • Sunday, May 28 (Morning), 9 am to Noon: After the fun of the evening is over, we need a few people to help us make sure we get all our supplies back to our office. Bring your energy and enthusiasm on this Sunday morning!

If you’re interested, please e-mail Jordan at volunteer@hivcl.org for more info and to sign up for one of the shifts.

Events – HIV Community Link holds many events throughout the year that need the helping hands of volunteers to help see through the success of the project. Whether it would be our Splash of Red Fundraiser, or the Scotiabank AIDS Walk and Run, volunteers are the backbone to executing successful events.

Host a Fundraiser – Whether you want to host a potluck, a special event, office fundraiser, bottle drive or holiday gathering, we’re happy to provide you with the right materials and support to ensure your event is a success!
